ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has confirmed receipt of a bomb threat targeting the St Catherine Parish Court in Spanish Town on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Court Administration Division (CAD), the safety protocols were immediately activated, and all staff and individuals present in the building were safely evacuated.
All matters scheduled for the morning session were also temporarily suspended.
Director of Client Services, Communications and Information, Kadiesh Fletcher, said relevant JCF units have been dispatched to the court to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
