Tokyo 2025: Seville, Thompson to lead Jamaicans in 4x100m heats

TOKYO, Japan — World Athletics Championships 100m gold medal winner Oblique Seville and silver medallist Kishane Thompson will lead Jamaica’s team in the 4x100m heats on Saturday, inside the Japan National Stadium.

The team will be completed by Ryiem Forde and 100m semi-finalist Ackeem Blake.

The men’s 4x100m heats will get underway at 8:25pm (6:25am Jamaica time).

Jamaica will run out of lane 3 and will face the United States, Canada, France, Kenya, Poland, Germany and Belgium with the top three teams securing automatic qualification to the final, which will take place on Sunday at 9:20pm (7:20am).
