KINGSTON, Jamaica – Calabar High’s Kamari Kennedy completed the Under-18 boys throws double at the JAAA National Championships at the National Stadium on Saturday.
A day after winning the shot put title with 18.07m, Kennedy took the discus with 61.32m and would have won with any of his other four legal throws.
Papine High’s Tyrone Henry was second with 47.39m and Khaleel Henry of Calabar High was third with 46.05m.
Calabar High throwers swept the discus throws as Delon Smith was the top Jamaican in the Under-20 section, throwing 51.44m. Kingston College’s Grenadian national representative Dylan Logan threw 50.93m and Daijon Budhai was next with 50.70m.
