Dutty Classics Collection, an 18-song collection of hits by international recording artiste Sean Paul which were culled from his first six studio albums, has now been certified platinum in the United Kingdom.
On Friday June 6, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) issued the certification commemorating sales and streaming figures equivalent to 300,000 units.
Dutty Classics Collection was released in June 2017 by Rhino Entertainment. It features the songs Entertainment 2.0 featuring Juicy J, 2 Chainz and Nicki Mina; Like Glue, Infiltrate, Deport Dem, I’m Still in Love with You featuring Sasha,
We Be Burnin, She Doesn’t Mind and Riot featuring Damian “Jr Gong” Marley.
The project first charted on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart in January 2020 and it has to date peaked at #2. It has been on the chart for the past 242 non-consecutive weeks.
Over in the United Kingdom, Dutty Classics Collection peaked at #98.
