The Jamaican Museum and Cultural Center (JMCC) in Atlanta, Georgia, recently paid tribute to renowned Jamaican actor and comedian Glen “Titus” Campbell in honour of his extraordinary contributions to the performing arts and enduring legacy in comedy.

Campbell was presented with a commemorative plaque by JMCC President Dr Apollone Reid and Vice-President Christine Marzouca.

The JMCC is dedicated to preserving and promoting Jamaican history, culture, and heritage through education, exhibitions, and community engagement. The center serves as a cultural bridge, connecting generations and sharing the Jamaican spirit with the world.

Campbell, who holds the distinction of receiving more Actor Boy Award nominations than any other Jamaican actor, was recognised for his excellence across the performing arts and for his steadfast support of Jamaica’s artistic community. His contributions to JMCC’s mission and programmes have been described as generous and unwavering.

The evening also marked the launch of the JMCC Fundraising Bricks Campaign, a bold initiative to build a permanent cultural landmark in Atlanta. This future home of JMCC aims to serve as a beacon of Jamaican heritage, allowing supporters to leave their mark with personalised bricks embedded in the facility’s foundation.
