KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, May 8, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $160.29 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $154.27 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $150.65 per litre after a decrease of $1.89 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $158.64 per litre, down by $3.06.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.91 per litre down by $1.56 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $76.35 per litre down by $.12.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markup to these prices.
