What is the longest river in Jamaica?

The Rio Minho is the longest river in Jamaica with a length of 92.8 kilometres (57.7 mi). The river rises close to the centre of Jamaica near to Spaldings on the mountain slopes and flows the entire length of the parish of Clarendon, reaching the Caribbean Sea at Carlisle Bay in the central south coast, to the west of the island's southernmost point

The Rio Minho river was originally called Rio de la Mina (River of the Mine) by the Spaniards who found traces of gold in the sands, and had a small mine at Longville, Clarendon.
