Curfew imposed in sections of Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring, St Andrew

KINGSTON, Jamaica –A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring, St Andrew.

The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 17, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 19.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: From Golden Spring Road running along an imaginary line to the cul-de-sac of Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring

East: From the cul-de-sac of Author Leon Drive, Golden Spring, continue along an imaginary line to the intersection of Boon Hall Road and Mount Airy Road

South: From the intersection of Boone Hall Road and Mount Airy Road to the intersection of Stock Farm Road and Golden Spring Road

West: From the intersection of Stock Farm Road and Golden Spring Road, continue along Golden Spring Road

During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
