Sixty-three Members of Parliament (MPs) and 21 senators took their seats in the Houses of Parliament on Thursday as legislators were sworn-in for the new term of government following the September 3 General Election.

The occasion brought smiles to the faces of the parliamentarians as they beamed with pride over their appointments, as well as the usual diehard supporters on both sides of the political divide.

There was also the usual display of style as politicians dressed to impress.
