TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Police have confirmed that five people killed in a crash Sunday along the Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny were from Spanish Town and Portmore addresses in St Catherine.
They were reportedly on their way to a party in Hanover.
However, their identities are still being withheld until their immediate family members have been notified.
According to the police, the minivan they were travelling in overturned along the Salt Marsh main road about 2:30 am.
Two of the occupants died at the scene, while the other three succumbed to their injuries at the Falmouth Public General Hospital.

Observer Online has learnt that at least two of the other seven individuals who were injured in the crash have since been treated and released.
