ST JAMES, Jamaica — Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett has announced that the development of a new hotel is set to break ground next month.
However what is unique about this offering is that this hotel is slated to be the tallest such building in Jamaica when completed.

“Just here a little way from us at Lilliput, we’re going to break ground later in this month for a Moon Palace, mega hotel, 33 storeys,” Bartlett remarked.

He was speaking during the annual general meeting of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association now underway at the Dreams Rose Hall Hotel and Spa.

This is now set to dwarf another developer just kilometres away in Reading, the Pinnacle, which when completed is set to stand at 28 storeys for each of its four towers.

That development will share boundaries with two other developments, the Unico and the Hard Rock.

“This is going to be the casino zone of Jamaica, without any doubt, and we are going to see 4,000 new rooms within that space,” Bartlett declared.
