KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kaheim Dixon and Renaldo Cephas have retained their places in Jamaica’s starting team to face the British Virgin Islands in their Concacaf World Cup second round Zone E game at the AO Shirley Recreation Ground in Road Town on Saturday.
Both players started both games in last weekend’s Unity Cup tournament in London and will be joined by Arnett Gardens striker Warner Brown in the team named by head coach Steve McClaren.
Brown scored 21 goals to lead all scorers in the recent Jamaica Premier League.
McClaren made five changes to the team that played against Trinidad and Tobago in the semi-final and Nigeria in the final, with goalkeeper and captain Andre Blake, central defender Damion Lowe, wing back Greg Leigh, Demarai Gray and Brown coming in.
Also retaining their place in the starting team are Cavalier SC captain Richard King, Dexter Lembikisa, Mason Holgate and Jon Russell.
Aston Villa winger Leon Bailey, Ravel Morrison and Dwayne Atkinson were among those listed among the substitutes.
