48-Hour Curfew Imposed in Sections of Rockfort, Kingston East

48-HOUR CURFEW IMPOSED IN SECTIONS OF ROCKFORT, KINGSTON EAST

A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Rockfort community. The curfew will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: Marl Road to Pleasant Height Road with an imaginary line to Hillcrest from the intersection of Marl Road and Warieka Hill

East: Warieka Road from the intersection of D’Aguilar Road and the intersection of Hillcrest Road and imaginary line to Marl Road

South: Intersection of Windward Road and Lucas Road to the intersection of Hillcrest Road and Oliver Road Windward Road to the intersection of Oliver Road and Marl Road.

West: Windward Road from the intersection of Windward Road and Warieka Road.

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
