KINGSTON, Jamaica — Cavalier SC revived their hopes of continuing the defence of their Concacaf Caribbean Cup title coming from behind to beat Defence Force of Trinidad and Tobago in their crucial Group B game played at the National Stadium in Kingston on Wednesday.

After a loss and a draw, Wednesday’s win was crucial for Cavalier SC as they improved to four points and into second place behind leaders Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic who are on six points from two wins, while Defence Force slipped to third, on three points from their two games, with two still to play.

Defence Force got off to a fast start with Kaihim Thomas scoring after just two minutes, and were hoping to escape with three points.

Daryl Massicot pulled Cavalier SC level when he scored his first goal for the Jamaican champions in the 21st minute before Christopher Ainsworth scored the winner in the 82nd minute.
