ST JAMES, Jamaica — A new commuter route between Montego Bay and Savanna-la-Mar, was launched on Wednesday by the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), in partnership with the Montego Bay Metro (MBM).
Aiming to improve public transportation access between the western parishes of St James and Westmoreland, the route will see commuters paying $250 for adults, $100 for children and $50 for seniors and the disabled.
Daily scheduled trips are now available and commuters are being encouraged to utilise the service and provide feedback to the MBM as it improves service.
