Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, whose given name is Megan Pete, is reiterating her position that incarcerated fellow rapper Tory Lanez is guilty of shooting her, describing him as a demon, amid what his lawyers allege is new evidence.
The artiste took to TikTok on Monday to speak out against ongoing misinformation and harassment from fans, which she has been enduring since the 2020 shooting.
“Facts are facts, he did it, it was proven in court,” the rapper posted on Monday via TikTok, “Tory you shot me!! Ain’t no new f***ing evidence. Y’all been saying the same s*** for years.”
She also expressed frustration over reliving her trauma, asking, “At what point are y’all gonna stop making me have to re-live being shot by Tory!? At what point are Tory and y’all fans gonna stop lying? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me?”
A legal team representing Canadian Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, claimed new evidence had emerged in the case — namely, a bodyguard who claimed he was employed by Kelsey Harris, Megan’s then-friend, the night of the July 12, 2020 shooting and had overheard Harris saying she had the gun, not Lanez.
The development follows an alleged attack on Lanez in prison, where he was reportedly stabbed 14 times.

The series of events prompted a response from Megan.
“Why is this happening every day?? One minute him/y’all said I was never shot, now y’all letting him play in y’all face again and say I was shot but it wasn’t him. Oh okay…?! I’m sick of this s***. Leave me alone!!!!” she posted.
The rapper went on to remind fans of how Lanez had acted during the trial, which saw him convicted of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, possession of a concealed, unregistered firearm, and negligent discharge of a firearm.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
“He ain’t dare get on that stand and deny he shot me and that was his choice because he knows he did that s***!” she said, “Why in the f*** would me…Megan Thee Stallion have to lie on this…? How y’all mad at the person that got shot????” Megan asked.
“Tory please leave me alone. You a f***ing demon.”
A petition advocating for Lanez’s pardon has gained notable support, with nearly 300,000 signatures from high-profile artists including Drake, Chris Brown, and dancehall artiste Popcaan
