Edward Hinds, promoter of the ultra premium beach party Cays, has guaranteed that the event’s seventh staging on May 18 will provide patrons with a memorable experience.

“This year, patrons can expect elevated production, an even more dynamic line-up, and the same authentic Cays energy that makes it more than just a party. Every staging gets bigger and better, and this one is no exception,” Hinds told The Jamaica Observer.

The event will be held at Pelican Beach in Black River, St Elizabeth between noon and 8:00 pm.

Meanwhile, Hinds said that he and the production team have been adding the finishing touches to the set-up ahead of the highly anticipated party.

“Preparation has been smooth and exciting, thanks to the incredible team at West Palm Eventz. The set-up is already underway on the beach right across from the world-famous Pelican Bar in Black River, St Elizabeth. A location that offers both beauty and vibe. With just days to go, the vision is coming to life, and the beach is being transformed into a true summer escape,” he told Splash, adding that Major Marketing has also been playing an essential role in the execution process.

Entertainment will be divided by ZJ Chrome, Coppershot as well as the internationally acclaimed DJ Puffy. According to the promoter, each disc jockey coincides with the vibe of the Cays brand.

“The DJ selection was all about energy, range, and cultural connection. We wanted to create a musical journey that feels exciting and global, while staying deeply rooted in Jamaican sound and vibe. ZJ Chrome and Coppershot bring that unmistakable local energy that moves a crowd every time. Adding DJ Puffy, a Caribbean-born international talent, brought a whole new layer of flavour his style is dynamic, fresh, and globally recognised. To bring this lineup to life, we’ve teamed up with Phenomenal Systems, our production and sound management team. From staging and sound to lighting, screens, and power, they’re the ones who help transform the beach into an immersive musical space. With their expertise and the DJs’ talent combined, Cays becomes more than just a party, it’s an experience you can feel, hear, and see from start to finish,” he explained.

Touting the food, vibe, and scenery offered at Cays, the promoter is encouraging patrons to come out and experience his event.

“Cays is unique because of its location, energy, and authenticity. Held beside the famous Pelican Bar, it’s unlike any other event in Jamaica. Most major events lean toward the north coast, but Cays celebrates the rich vibe of the south coast offering a setting that feels like a hidden paradise. Surrounded by sea, music, and beautiful people, the experience is immersive and transportive. It feels like you’ve stepped into another world and once you’ve experienced it, you’ll never forget it,” Hinds said.
