KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall artiste Teejay just made another milestone move in his career after his widely popular hit single Drift was featured in the global hit video game series, Fortnite.

News of the feature broke via social media on Wednesday night, prompting the dancehall artiste to make a series of posts confirming the move on Thursday. The Fortnite series not only included the track but also the infectious dance moves created by Jamaican dancer, Gabbidon.

Characters from the gaming series were programmed to execute the now-infamous choreography. Since the inclusion of Teejay’s Drift, several gamers have posted videos to social media indicating that they have purchased the dancing avatars as a sign of support for the ‘Uptop Boss.’

Congratulations have also been pouring in from fellow dancehall artistes and fans alike as they wished the deejay continued success.

This is the latest in a series of accomplishments for the Panda and DJ Mac-produced single. Last year, the song managed to make it to three Billboard charts including the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
