17 Haitians taken into police custody after arriving in Portland
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Seventeen Haitians arrived in the Passley Gardens area of Port Antonio, Portland on Monday. Observer Online learnt that they were seen sometime after 6:00 am and the police were alerted. They were taken to the Port Antonio Police Station for health and immigration processing. The group reportedly comprises 10 adult males, four adult females and three children. The police are investigating. — Everard Owen
