The Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) Change of Command Parade (also JDF Changing of the Guard) held at the Jamaica Defence Force Air Wing / Polo Field at Up Park Camp on Saturday, January 21, 2017 afternoon, seeing the transition of power to Major General Rocky Meade, as his forerunner Major General Antony Anderson bid adieu to the position he held since October 2010.
A list of JDF Soldiers, military staffers, government officials, politicos, diplomats, and assorted well-wishers attended the ceremony to honour the two men.

Addressing a vibrant Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) Change of Command Parade at Up Park Camp, Meade said that while some of the solutions to Jamaica's crime problem must be implemented over the long term, there are some immediate strategies that the security forces must partner to address.
