Lowe River Primary and Junior High School is situated in the cool hills of Trelawny, Jamaica. The school sustains itself through regular fundraisers and is supported by the PTA, Past Students Association and the Community at large.
The school is surrounded by Yam Farmers, 90% of the vegetation in the videos are yam hills.

The school has one vice-principal. Though it’s called primary and Junior high it no longer has a junior high department since 2015. It however, has an infant department since 2019. There are 28 members of staff with one guidance counselor and about 500 students on roll. There is no food and home economics department.
