Surrey County, Jamaica

Surrey County is the easternmost of the three counties into which Jamaica is divided.  Surrey is bordered by Middlesex County to the west. The county covers 2009.3 km², roughly less than one third of Jamaica and holds no administrative significance. Jamaica's fourteen parishes are grouped into three counties with Surrey County housing four parishes. These counties were established in 1758 to facilitate the British County court system. The county town Kingston for Surrey County. Popular tourist destinations such as Kingston City, Port Royal and Port Antonio are located in Surrey County.
