ST CATHERINE, Jamaica-An alleged member of the notorious One Order Gang was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police in Eltham Meadows, Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Monday, February 3.
He has been identified as Aidan McIntosh, otherwise known as ‘AD’ of Eltham Meadows, in the parish.
According to reports from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Corporate Communications Unit, one Glock pistol and five 9 mm rounds of ammunition were found at the scene following the incident.
The incident has been reported to the JCF’s Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB) and the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM).
A 48-hour curfew has since been imposed in sections of Ellerslie Pen and Tawes Meadows in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Just weeks before this incident, the reputed leader of the One Order Gang, Othneil Lobban, otherwise called ‘Thickman,’ was killed by members of the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force (JAGTF) at Six Miles in St Andrew.
