KINGSTON, Jamaica — Defending champions Mona High dropped their first points of the group stage since 2021, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Jonathan Grant in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup on Tuesday.

Saadiq Donegal stunned the hosts in the third minute to put Jonathan Grant ahead.

However, Mona captain Dante Peralto ensured his team grabbed a point from the game with a well-taken free kick in the 60th minute.

Prior to the match, Mona won all their group games since 2022. Their last drawn game in the first round was against St Catherine High in 2021.

Mona, however, still lead the group with 16 points, five ahead of second- placed Jonathan Grant with 10.
