Although, established in 1912, the date of construction is unknown. It stands 13 metres (43 ft) high with a solar-powered lens mounted at the top on a small platform. More importantly, the white light flashing once every twelve seconds for a duration of 1.2 seconds, followed by 10.8 seconds of darkness.
The light is also visible across the ocean, up to a distance of 19 kilometres (12 mi) from the Galina Point.
